" Hebrew 1:1 says” God who at in sundry times and diverse manners spake unto the fathers by the prophets”. This shows that there was a communication between God and men in the Old Testament but it was only through the prophets. The communication between God and prophets too were in diverse manners. There was no unique way of communication. At a time God spoke to them through fire, through water, through the clouds, by a still small voice and even through a donkey. Throughout the Old Testament people could not approach God directly, they had to go through a medium (the prophets). During the time of Exodus, God only spoke with the Israelites through Moses as recorded in Exodus 19-20. God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses and he handed them down to the Israelites. God spoke with the people through other prophets like Isaiah, Jeremiah, Samuel and a host of others....."

font size="5">" The preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness: but unto us that are saved, it is the power of God,” Paul explains the benefits of the cross of Christ for us in most of his Epistles. 

In contrast to those who are not believers, whose ways of life have been nullified by God, believers, who have been called by God, owe their very existence to being in Christ Jesus. In sharp contrast to the wisdom available in the world, Christ has become for us wisdom from God. 

In 1st Corinthia1ns 1 vs. 30, Paul then spells out what this gift of wisdom means in the three expressions that follow. They come from the law courts, the temple and the slave market respectively. 

Christ is our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Righteousness means that we have been brought into a right standing before God and a right relationship with Him.( 2Cor 5:21, Rom 5:21, Rom 5: 19). 

Holiness means that we set apart for Him and are now under his exclusive ownership. Redemption means we have been set free by Him from the power and consequences of sin (  Col 1:14, Eph 1: 7).

  Christ’s work brings us, then, into a relationship with Him so that we might live for Him, all of which depends on what God achieved through Him. This phrase encapsulates the who, how and why of the Christian life. Who are we? Righteous one. How do we live? As holy people Why is this so? Because of redemption.

                       SALVATION NOT RELIGION

There has been some movement going around to propagate religion ecumenical. The motive of this movement is to establish unity among various religion in the world today ,  that salvation is  obtainable in all religion and that  that two religions can come under an umbrella.

Remember, this is a sign of end time and some of the sign are rebellious  to the father of spirit. This movement is of the devil and cannot be from God, because the scripture establish it crystal clear that “Neither is there Salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4 vs. 12). Their motive is not from God because it is at variance with truth of the gospel.

The scripture emphatically stated that “ I am the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE: no man cometh unto the father but by me” (John 14 vs. 6). Obviously, salvation can not come by combining exorcism and Christianity together (Because Christianity in not a religion as people suppose, but a way of life).

The only Salvation is by Christ Jesus, knowing that 613 articles of the law could not save, it rather made sins to abound, but the death of a deity, established eternal salvation once and for all (Heb. 5 verse 9). Christ remains the only Saviour of the whole world, and the ONLY way to the father of Life.

We must be aware of this evil doctrine, and try as much as possible to herald the gospel of truth about REDEMPTION AND THE BENEFITS. We must know that Salvation is a word that goes with the Saviour and the Saviour is the only begotten of the father. This is a package that was done by the blood of Jesus; this package includes ;sound health, deliverance, holiness, and righteousness to mention but few.

So the word Salvation is attached to the word JESUS because He is the instigator of a new way to God and the pioneer of a new temple and a new humanity (new creature). He is the pioneer of a new era and the author of eternal Salvation.
